Support Network

It’s impossible to over-estimate how important it is to have a good support network around you when you start your own business.

I’ve been a bee-keeper for over ten years and what was started off as a hobby is now my full-time business, ‘Bees on the Roof.’

I worked in international banking, so to say that it was a complete U-turn in terms of my career is putting it mildly.

My main focus with my business is putting bee hives in urban areas and helping companies reach their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) targets.

Support is key to maintaining a high level of service when it comes to this business.

All my friends and family have proved invaluable when it comes to advice on starting up the company.

My inner circle has been a great sounding board for ideas, for help with virtual presentations and just encouraging me to go for it.

Setting up a new company in a pandemic is challenging.

But as I told myself at the start, what’s the worst that can happen?

And thankfully the business has been flying it – literally!
